J.K. Simmons Assembles the "Superheroes of Insurance"

Farmers Insurance taps the power of The Avengers...

To insure your action figure collection, get in touch with Collectibles Insurance, the official insurance company of the Figures.com network. Say "Figures.com" to get 5% off your first term premiums.

Whether or not they convince you to switch car insurance, most all can agree that the Farmers Insurance television commercials are good fun. Starring J.K. Simmons as the illustrious Professor Nathaniel Burke, fans of the deadpan ads will want to tune in beginning April 16th as Burke and a new ragtag team of "Superheroes of Insurance" assemble to promote home, auto and life insurance, as well as Marvel's anticipated motion picture, The Avengers. Check out the first TV spot, "Suit Up," below.

To further the fun, Farmers is taking the ad campaign to Facebook (facebook.com/FarmersInsurance) where wannabe super heroes/ super-agents can get the blueprints on how to create their own do-it-yourself costumes. For those lacking the creative skills, Farmers provides a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the motley outfits in the video below.

Superheroes of Insurance? Sure beats talking lizards...
