Go Hero's intention (or any toy company for that matter) is not to release poor product to upset fans. Here's Steve Forde's new reply regarding the Shadow body: "I love the ATOModel and ATOMedia bodies – I helped design them, I branded them, and am very proud of my contributions. These were co-developed by Go Hero and Day2Day Trading (Makers of the Dan Dare figure – now available for pre-order at GoHero.com!) That body is in use with several projects including Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Sinbad, Perseus, and Dan Dare. As for the Shadow, the short answer is that this time out it is a co-production with Executive Replicas and they are taking the lead on production. In my opinion, the Shadow is already turning out to be amazing, well worth the price and an essential addition to every 1:6 scale collection. V2 of the proto is almost ready and I will be able to give more details and photos as it comes together."
