SDCC12: Toynami Shows Off Wide Range Of Products

Hello Kitty, Futurama, Robotech, Naruto, And Much More...

Dive into the Toynami SDCC gallery to see all of their cool items including Canmans, Cinemaquettes, and more HERE.

Toynami is a mainstay at Comic-Con, with an awesome booth full of display cases showing off their wide variety of products and licenses. 2012 was no different, with really cool stuff ranging from Hello Kitty to Robotech. The Street Fighter X Sanrio line continues with new Hello Kitty plushes in familiar video game character costumes, even as the SDCC 2012 exclusive Chun Li version sold out within the first few hours. Another line of Hello Kitty products partners the cute characters with tiny plastic food items in blind boxes. Meanwhile, Toynami adds another cartoon to its roster: Spongebob Squarepants in silly vinyl figures by UNKL.

On the Robotech side there’s some interesting new movement. The Zentraedi Officer’s Pod looked great, although there’s no release date yet; same goes for fun plush VF-1J Veritech Fighters in two sizes. The big news here is that the final masterpiece Veritech, the Shadow Beta, is finally coming later this year!

Toynami continues to bring cool anime characters to life with Bleach action figures and a huge range of products from Naturo Shippuden including Figuarts Zero (currently available), statues, “Mininja” blind box figures, and more. Futurama gets more love too with figures, minis, plushes, character beanies, etc. Skelanimals have lots more characters coming, and the DC line is rolling out more plushes alongside new figures. And even that’s not all!
