Today we kick off our Masters of the Universe Classics week with this month's "Club Eternia" figure, Moss Man. This brand new figure has caused a lot of debate among collectors and was once thought to be delayed. Regardless of all the issues there has been with this figure, Mattel has still managed to get it out just in time for this month's release.

A strong scent of pine will run up your nose from the moment you remove Moss Man's blister card package from the white mailer box. This is yet another example of how authenticly accurate Mattel is trying to make the MOTUC line to the classic toys.

The flocking is distributed all across the figure's body while avoiding the crucial articulation joints. The areas around the joints are bare and have a sculpted hair texture. The fur on Moss Man's body is attached very well to the body and does not shed when the figure is handled.

Moss Man is mainly composed of Beastman's body and head with an additional 200X-styled head, a vine harness with pouch and sheath which houses a removable dagger and a modified longer loincloth. Moss Man's bio reveals some additional background information from the 200X lore as it states that he was once an ally to King Grayskull.

This figure is a fantastic addition to the MOTUC collection and goes on sale today at noon on mattycollector.com. The figure will be available with flocked or unflocked ears while supplies last so for those who do not have a Club Eternia subscription.
