One of the most eye-catching displays in this year’s GAMA exhibit hall was the massive Cityscape at the Hawk Wargames booth. Part of their Dropzone Commander miniatures game, the city package allows you to build a 6’ by 4’ fully customizable urban battlefield in the popular 10mm scale. The Cityscape box set comes with 20 cardboard buildings and 24 double-sided ground tiles so you can create tons of different designs for your game. And of course while it’s perfect for Dropzone Commander, the Cityscape could be used for other miniature games as well.

What is Dropzone Commander, you may be wondering? Hawk Wargames describes it as “10mm Sci-Fi Massed Battles.” I might add that it’s a miniature game featuring some of the most detailed and cool-looking sci-fi vehicles I’ve ever seen. The futuristic battlefield consists of four factions (Scourge, Shaltari Tribes, Post-Human Republic, United Colonies of Mankind), each with its own unique machines of war from troops to ground vehicles, support craft, flying dreadnaughts, and more. The game features Starter Sets for each faction, heavy duty and full color Rulebooks (that include paint guides), and Blister Packs for additional units. If you’re a gamer or just a fan of cool sci-fi designs, you should check these out. Let your local game store know your interested in Dropzone Commander, and head on over to hawkwargames.com for more info.
