    Re: TF14: Bandai America SpruKits

The figures for the beginning level kits stand about 5 inches tall, while the more advanced kits (Level 3) are around 7-8".

Bandai America is a kids toy juggernaut, most popular in the boys world for lines like Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and Ben 10. At this year's Toy Fair the company showed off a unique new product line that will debut this year that combines action figures and model kits in a new way that's accessible to kids and fun to build: the SpruKits! Utilizing a proprietary method to create four-color sprue trees, Bandai America will be releasing figural and robot model kits that require no tools, glue, or paint. Just pop out the pre-colored parts, put them together with easy snap fit assembly, and you've got fully articulated figures! Revealed at Toy Fair were SpruKits from DC Comics as well as films and games (Arkham City, Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, etc.), Halo, and LBX (described as a kid version of Gundam). SpruKits will be classified in three Levels denoting complexity, size, and cost. Level 1 kits are for beginners and kids with around 25-30 pieces for about $10. Level 2 moves up to 55-80 parts at $20 while the advanced Level 3 kits feature at least 200 pieces at $55. For example, the Level 3 Halo Master Chief has extreme detail not possible on the smaller versions like the correct armor on the fingers except for the trigger digits. Make sure to click on the link at the top or bottom of this page to see all of the cool SpruKits on display at Toy Fair from Batman, Superman, and the Joker to Halo's Master Chief, Gabriel Thorne, and Sarah Palmer!
