Re: Hasbro's Star Wars UNLEASHED I always liked the line, and I am working on getting them all to go with the rest of my McF / NECA movie figures. Weird though that they never made a R2-D2 and C-3PO (figured they come together). I know they are limited as far as dynamic poses go, but come on, they are major characters (and fan favorites) in the Star Wars mythos.

Re: Hasbro's Star Wars UNLEASHED I was (and still am) a BIG fan of Hasbro's SW Unleashed line. However as a guy who keeps his toys in package, it was a nightmare. I was lucky though, I was able to find several figures on cards that wasn't completely ruined. I think my favorites were Jedi Luke, Darth Vader, and Ep III Obi Wan. Oh wait, Han Solo was pretty cool too! Oh Count Dooku was insanely cool too ...and Mace Windu ......okay they were all pretty sweet! I just wish they would have rereleased Darth Maul on the new card.

With access to the rich cast of the Star Wars saga, Hasbro transformed each character into a dynamic "Unleashed" statue. While cast in plastic to keep costs down, these affordable action display pieces packed incredible detail. Darth Maul was my first, the Sith Lord crazily captured in a fiery ring of translucent flames (Dark Force powers?). After a few years absence, the line made a brief comeback with a Target exclusive Boba Fett (equally cool), but fan/retailer demand just wasn't strong enough and "Unleashed" faded into Star Wars history. >> CARDBACK ARCHIVE <<
