Damn even the posters look bad-***!

Can't wait for this movie, along with NECA and Sideshow's awesome merchandise. I'm looking forward to the preview for the film this weekend at WonderCon.

Yes, you are correct that it's not truly in quarter scale. It's an 18 inch action figure that's just part of NECA's Quarter Scale collection.

18" isn't quarter scale for something that is many stories tall, it's only quarter scale for something roughly 6' tall.

NECA Action Figures Hitting This Summer...

Two new posters from Pacific Rim just surfaced, showing new mechs (called Jaegers) from the movie: Coyote Tango from Japan and Cherno Alpha from Russia. Pacific Rim opens in theaters July 12, but to tide fans over, NECA will be unleashing their first assortment of 7 inch action figures. Series 1, due out in June, will include America's blue Gipsy Danger and China's red Crimson Typhoon (both pictured below). Series 2, to follow later in the year, will feature Australia's Striker Eureka. Check out all three on display at Toy Fair in our photo gallery HERE. An enemy Kaiju will also be released (being kept secret), as well as an 18" Gipsy Danger with lights and sound!
