Predator fans rejoice! Yet another wave of unique new Predator action figures has been released as we draw closer to completing the "Lost Tribe" as seen at the end of Predator 2. The latest wave of Predator action figures by NECA consist of the Guardian, Snake and Stalker.

The fifth and latest wave of Predators features the same unique blister card design as previous assortments, however because this is an entirely Predator 2 character wave, the oversized profile image is that of the City Hunter. The back of the blister card features images of the new Predator trio along with a character specific mini bio.

The art team at NECA has done a fantastic job once again by taking maximum advantage of the latest Predator buck body which features more leg articulation than previous releases. The latest batch of Predators features an incredible level of sculpted details and unique accessories which distinguish each clan member from one another.

For example, the Snake Predator features a unique furry shoulder pad which sits over his right shoulder, two separate fur pieces which wrap around the obliques and uniquely sculpted armored plates that cover the crotch and rear.

The Guardian Predator features the awesome Gort mask previously featured on last year's Comic-Con exclusive along with a unique upper body armor piece. The Guardian is the only Predator in this assortment that features armored gauntlets and retractable blades. The sculpted details on the back of the Guardian predator are very impressive and significantly different from any other Predator armor.

The Stalker Predator has very light upper-body armor and a helmet which is reminiscent of the Boar Predator from the previous wave. The Stalker features sculpted leather armlets similar to the Shaman Predator. The left forearm features a unique ornate bone formation attached to the leather wraps.

The color apps on these figures are nothing short of impressive for the 7-inch scale and breathe life into each Predator. The Guardian Predator features the most impressive color applications of the trio. The bright and dark blend of brownish hues on the body contrasts strikingly against the shiny chrome armor and helmet of the Guardian. The shiny metal armor on the Guardian has a dry-brushed worn effect which makes the figure look even better. The rings around the head tendrils are painted in bright yellow, brown and reds which stand out significantly.

The colored patterns and shapes on the Snake Predator look as if they could belong to a member of the reptile species in real life. The paint applications on the exposed Snake Predator's head are vibrant and clean. The shoulder and waist fur pieces are colored in various shades of grey which contrast nicely against the worn copper-colored armor.

The Stalker Predator features a lighter paint job and the body armor is an almost golden copper color which contrasts quite well against the varying hues of yellow on the creature’s body. The Stalker Predator's helmet is colored in a similar manner as the rest of the armor and features a worn-out paint job.

This latest trio of Predators features a vast amount of articulation throughout their bodies which helps support several different dynamic poses. The joints are pretty firm on all the Predators which help to prevent from having the figures fall over.

Each figure in this assortment includes a removable blade disk which attaches to the circular groove on the right thigh. The Stalker and Snake Predator each include a retracted spear while the Guardian includes a fully extended one.

Who would have thought that we would get action figures of the entire Lost Clan from Predator 2? Thanks to the fine folks at NECA, we will finally have the chance to complete our Lost Clan figure set by the end of 2012.
