[HR][/HR]The internet is abuzz with news today that Paramount Pictures has chosen [B]Jon M. Chu[/B] to direct [B]G.I. Joe 2[/B], the sequel to 2009's [I]G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra[/I]. Production will begin this fall.

Jon Chu recently directed [I]Justin Bieber: Never Say Never[/I]. Currently in its third week of release, "Never Say Never" has earned nearly $60 million at the domestic box office. While I'm not exactlly thrilled by the subject matter of his last film, I don't think fans should so quickly dismiss Jon Chu's talent as a capable director for [I]GI Joe 2[/I].
