[HR][/HR][B]Weta[/B] announces that they will be releasing a new range of collectibles for Paramount Pictures' motion capture animated film, [B]The Adventures of Tintin[/B]. A [B]1:6 scale statue of Captain Haddock[/B] is the first product to be launched in this line, with pre-orders currently being accepted at [I]wetanz.com[/I]. Standing 11.8" tall and weighing in at 2.2lbs, the sculpture is scheduled to ship 4th quarter 2011 priced at $199. No more than 2,000 are being produced.

It stars Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Defiance) as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig (Quantum of Solace, Defiance) as the nefarious Red Rackham. [B]The Adventures of Tintin[/B] opens in theaters December 23rd, 2011.
