Full Moon Toys' RETRO PUPPETMASTER (1999) Charles Band's fiendish dolls take a trip back in time... I appreciate them for what they are: fun B-movies. Puppetmaster does have a loyal fanbase, however, evident by the wave after wave of fiendish action figures created by Full Moon Toys. The company had a pretty good run with their Puppetmaster action figures, capturing all the dolls from the original movie (including a gazillion variants), as well as their "retro" look from the prequel film, Retro Puppetmaster. I really like the look of these raw, hand-carved "wood" dolls over the more modern classics. Unfortunately, I caught these as the series was ending, only managing to snag Six-Shooter on a 1/2 off clearance sale. I may track down a few more... just for the fun of it...
