Re: NECA Gears of War: Judgment - 7" BAIRD

Good Lord, I genuinely hope this is just a prototype. I'm not usually this critical, but sometimes you've got to be firm to be fair. I guess it looks alright, I'd be nit picking about the hairstyle or choice of blue, but once again NECA have kept that damned arm articulation just as with the Gears of war 3 figures. I guess this Damon won't be able to hold his gun in two hands either. It's no surprise they never show any of their gears figure protypes with them holding their gun in two hands; because it can't be done. slap a '30 points of articulation' anywhere, it makes no difference if it's in the wrong place! Curse you NECA!

NECA Gears of War: Judgment - 7" BAIRD

    Prequel Game Gets A Figure...

As reported in our story HERE, NECA will be experimenting in a new 3 3/4" action figure size using their Gears of War license as the testing subject. However, 3 3/4" GoW figures won't be the only scale Gearheads receive next year, as a 7-inch action of Baird is coming. Based on the character's look from the prequel Gears of War: Judgment, Lt.Damon Baird features over 30 points of articulation and comes equipped with the retro Lancer weapon.

This figure is now available for pre-order at many fine retailers, such as BigBadToyStore.com and ToyWiz.com, priced at $17.99. Baird is scheduled to arrive this February. Gears of War: Judgment hits retail March 19th.
