    Re: TF14: Toynami Robotech

I wish they would give us another chance to own the transforming Masterpiece Collection pieces, as well as bringing us a damn Veritech Hovertank!

Yune and Co have ruined this property. Such a shame.

As hardcore Robotech fans since we were little, the Figures.com team attending Toy Fair couldn't wait to meet with Toynami and see what they had in store for the property. Next year is going to be the 30th anniversary of the show, and Toynami will be there to help fans celebrate with new collectibles! Building up to that event in 2014 will be a brand new toy line featuring super-deformed figures of mecha and characters in blind boxes. Series 1 is scheduled for the summer and will star six different figures that come in twelve packs of sealed boxes. At around $10-12 these should be easy to collect although there may be rarer figures and even chases...

Meanwhile, the anniversary will also see the re-release of Toynami's 1/100th scale Veritechs along with some new decos featuring Max's VF-1A and an updated Skull 1. Series 1 will be standard VFs and a second series will re-introduce armor packs. Toynami has also scheduled the plush Veritechs to be part of the 30th anniversary lineup, so look for those in 2015.
