Alongside Transformers Prime (now Beast Hunters), the Generations line continues to serve Transformers fans their favorite Autobots and Decepticons. Coming up is a big year for Transformers, with 2014 marking the brand’s 30th anniversary! The Generations line will reflect that, with a new packaging scheme starting around Comic-Con this year and extending into next. To support the anniversary push Hasbro is partnering with IDW for a new story with characters and styles that match the toys perfectly. Starting with Wave 3 of the Deluxe series the toys will come with comic books; that wave inclues a modernized Bumblebee with major new tooling, stealth bomber Megatron, Trailcutter, and Orion Pax. In the Legends scale are Transformers with their own transforming weapons/accessories including Optimus Prime with Roller that turns into a cannon and Bumblebee with Blazemaster. Finally, the big Voyager class brings triple changers Springer and Blitzwing, both with three highly detailed modes and smooth transformation schemes!
