    SDCC13: Captain Action

Lady Action Struts Her Stuff, Animated Series Moves Forward, More...

While Captain Action didn't have a booth display at this year's Comic-Con, his presence was alive and well thoughout the show. Titan Merchandise was offering for sale new Captain Action gear in the form of hoodies and mugs, while a SDCC panel united and informed fans. The latter kicked off with Captain Action toys, breaking the big news that Tonner is onboard to release a collector doll of Lady Action in early 2014. For those looking to complete their bonus Hawkeye wardrobe, the September/October relese of Iron Man and Wolverine will complete the collection providing fans with Hawkeye's mask and wrist bracelets. As with past new costume set releases, the core Captain Action figure will see a re-release, this time around sporting a new packaging design (pictured below). Last but not least, Round 2 sneaked a peek of their New York Comic-Con 2013 exclusive HERE!

In Captain Action animated series news, Gang of Seven Animation announced that they have almost nailed the "bible" for the show, that being the look and many mannerisms of the characters. The team doesn't want to rush the action comedy to market, but at the same time they are aware fans are eager to watch it. They're really close and they promise the wait will be worth it.
