Underground Toys is always a hit with fans at Comic-Con since their two main licenses are Doctor Who and Star Wars; it doesn’t get much bigger than that. With everything from Who action figures to plush toys and all sorts of novelty items, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy. This year Underground had a wide variety of products for sale, including the SDCC exclusive Ace figure from Remembrance of the Daleks and the new 3 ¾ inch figure line. They also had a series of display cases containing a lot of in progress items, most of which were not approved for photography yet. Here’s a brief rundown of what we saw, and what Underground will be announcing soon:

    • Star Wars watches: these are large, heavy duty timepieces and come in Imperial Stormtrooper, R2-D2, Yavin Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader flavors
    • Star Wars plush: giant talking Yoda, medium Christmas-themed Vader and Yoda, medium talking Wampa and Tauntaun
    • Mortal Instruments City of Bones: Isabelle’s Stele replica and Mortal Cup replica
    • Star Trek: a very interesting variety of items here including a Motion Picture clock, TNG Enterprise-D plastic toy, TOS Scotty clock, TOS blue uniform watch, and a TOS bell alarm clock
    • Doctor Who plush: talking red Dalek, Weeping Angel, K-9, and blue Dalek, giant talking Adipose
    • Doctor Who large scale Daleks: Union Jack and American Flag versions, due later this year!
    • Doctor Who Figurine Collection: coming later this year as well and following the recent trend of others like DC, Marvel, Star Wars ships, Batman vehicles, etc. On display were 10th and 11th Doctors, classic and modern Daleks, Davros, Ice Warrior, Sontaran, Cyberman, Weeping Angel, and Silurian Warrior
    • Doctor Who other: round Gallifreyan symbols watch, rectangular Dalek and Gallifreyan symbols watches, “Bow Ties Are Cool” cuff links, iPhone cases, modern Doctor Who enemies clock, 50th Anniversary Doctors clock, character head mugs

Photos were allowed of the upcoming Pyramids of Mars Priory Collector’s Set, which you can see in the photo gallery!
