D23 EXPO 2013: Phineas and Ferb "Mission Marvel"

Premiering this Friday on the Disney Channel...

Premiering this Friday, August 16 at 8:00 ET/PT on the Disney Channel is the popular cartoon of Phineas and Ferb paired up with the heroes of Marvel Comics! This is the first time Marvel has ever entered into Disney stratosphere so this is quite a celebration. The story finds Phineas and Ferb teaming up with the Marvel Super Heroes to help them regain their powers and defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz as well as a handful of Marvel Super Villains. The epic battle of good and evil will also unleash “The Waffle-inator” contraption into play.

Over at the D23 Expo in Anaheim this past weekend, “The Waffle-inator” allowed guests a chance to partake in this spectacular 40-foot high interactive game combining physical and digital worlds, with a key emphasis on flying waffles. All this in an epic showdown to free Agent P from the clutches of Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

The Waffle-inator was open during the entire Expo and featured several special guests as well! Dan Povenmire (Creator/Executive Producer & “Dr. Doofenshmirtz”), Swampy Marsh (Creator/Executive Producer & “Major Monogram”), Vincent Martella (“Phineas”), and Alyson Stoner (“Isabella”).

Also on hand for the celebration from the Marvel side was Drake Bell (“Spider-Man”), Adrian Pasdar (“Iron Man”), Fred Tatasciore (“Hulk”), and Travis Willingham (“Thor”).

Don’t forget to catch this special episode of Phineas and Ferb on the Disney Channel Friday night!
