#4 HOT TOYS 12" ASSASSIN'S CREED II EZIO

For those in need of an assassin, look no further than Ezio, the fan-favorite protagonist from Assassin's Creed 2. The man to contact when you need someone killed quickly, quietly and without question made his way into 1/6th scale collections in 2010 thanks to Hot Toys. This version of the blade-wielding warrior without peer features a beautifully tailored and game accurate outfit complete with articulated boots, tunic with cowl, dagger-lined belt, gauntlets with hidden arm blades and more.

#3 SQUARE ENIX PLAY ARTS: KAI METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER SNAKE (SNEAKING SUIT VER.)

Never has Metal Gear's main man been captured in plastic as he was this year thanks to Square Enix. As a part of the company's line of highly detailed and articulated Play Arts: Kai figures, the Sneaking Suit Snake figure, standing 10" tall, was designed with both play and display in mind. Crafted with input directly from Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima, Square Enix masterpiece features over 25 points of articulation, multiple accessories, and two variant paint applications... which means this Sneaking Suit Snake figure found itself sneaking out of stores all over the world when it was released.

    #2 MCFARLANE'S HALO: REACH

Halo fans got more than they bargained for with the fall release of Halo: Reach. In addition to an exciting new game packed with cool new armors, weapons and abilities, players were treated to an awesome new line of action figures from McFarlane Toys. Sized slightly larger than McFarlane's previous Halo assortments, the new Halo: Reach figures amazed with more durable articulation and an incredible level of detail. The selection of unique characters also surpassed that of past Halo lines, introducing collectors to the cool personalities of Noble Team, such as Jorge with his monstrous machine gun and the skull-masked Emile. Best of all, McFarlane Toys gave fans something they have long desired: scaled vehicles in the form of the UNSC Warthog and Covenant Ghost. With tons of new character designs to turn into action figures, McFarlane's Halo: Reach collection promises to keep fans happy for many months to come.

    #1 NECA's BIOSHOCK

In 2007, BioShock plunged players into one of the most immersive video games ever released. With its unique underwater art deco design and clever first person game play, BioShock had all the makings of a true classic. All its loyal followers lacked were a range of collectibles to celebrate this masterpiece...

In 2010, NECA made up for lost time by unleashing a flood of amazing merchandise based on the inevitable sequel, BioShock 2. A hulking Big Daddy Bouncer action figure anchored the series with its instantly recognizable (mutated) good looks. Soon new characters joined the fray, including the sequel's protagonist, Subject Delta, as well as a new watery foe, the Big Sister. While only a small fraction of the size of the Big Daddy, the Little Sister action figure charmed collectors with her ghoulishly cool sculpt and surprisingly high points of articulation. Some of NECA's neatest BioShock items weren't action figures at all, but well-designed prop replicas. A Big Daddy rag doll seemingly created of random pieces of junk and an EVE Hypo coursing with blue luminescent powers were just two must-have BioShock props, both packing loads of value at under $20.

Dangerously accurate to the dystopian design of the game, NECA's BioShock collectibles delivered to fans pure works of art. Mr. Bubbles would be proud...
