Hello everyone, my name is Mel from southern California and have been casually collecting 1/6 scale figures since 2007 beginning with Sideshow Collectibles but haven't fully went all into the hobby until I attended the 1st Annual One Sixth Xpo at the Frank & Son Show last May and it changed my outlook on 1/6 scale toys ever since. Having seen the life-like headsculpts and fine detailed clothing and accessories. I like the way this hobby has developed from a few years ago believing that I came into this at the right time. I started off with mostly Star Wars but slowly ventured off to military subjects and now I am more interested in movie related figures and pop culture icons, I'd like to diversify my collection and keep it at chosen elite few. Other than Sideshow, I prefer collecting Hot Toys, Enterbay, Art Figures, Dam Toy & Soldier Story. I'm usually in other forums such as this like OSW & Sideshow Freaks looking for any news on upcoming releases and photo reviews. Other than this hobby, I used to collect comic books & Hasbro Star Wars figs. As of now I'm so looking forward to seeing the upcoming Avengers movie and what Hot Toys has in store for us with that line.
