Yep, just finished off year 4 of Crypticon! Had a blast for the weekend, and even went out to dinner with Return of the Living Dead's Don Calfa!

Re: Introductions.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I've been lurking and occasionally posting at the Spawn forums for a few years now. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and seeing all your great collections!

Re: Introductions.

I had previously registered but my account somehow disappeared, so I just registered again. I don't know what happened there...

Yeah, there was a site crash (or sumfin') and several recently registered users were deleted (myself included). There were also some recent threads that were accidentally deleted as well...

Hey, my name is Gavin and I felt that posting in the "Introduction" thread was appropriate since I literally just registered 15 minutes ago. I came to this site as I really wanted to discuss toy news, stuff I have found, etc and I was tired of waiting for the Spawn boards to authorize my account (it's seriously been two months since I registered and I still can't post). A little bit about myself...err...well, I'm a 23 year old college student who attends the University of Southern Indiana and am majoring in Radio/Television. Someday I want to rule the airwaves with my charm and wit. I work a painstaking job in retail by day and at night often do stand-up comedy. I have been all over the state of Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky performing my act. It's fun and I hope to one day seriously pursue doing it for a living. I have a gf who I have been with for about 9 months and she actually supports my collecting hobby. It's weird I know. Even though she doesn't collect herself, she is always up to tag along when I decide to go hunting.

Speaking of which, I should probably say what I collect. Sadly, no pics of collection yet but I'm working on it. My collection mostly consists of NECA (my favorite maker of the figures of action) movie figs and DC Universe Classics. I have been hooked on NECA's ever since I bought my first Cult Classics Jigsaw back in 06. I am also in love with the DCU line. I try to only collect main people in that line because collecting every side character would become expensive very quickly. My favorite figures from this line have to be anything Batman. I love when they release new heroes or villains from Batman. And finally, I collect some McFarlanes because you aren't a real collector unless you have something McFarlane in your collection. I mainly collect from the NFL line and specifically collect Indianapolis Colts figures since they are my favorite team.

When I'm not collecting figs or doing school stuff, I like hanging out with my friends or spending time on the interwebs. I'm also an avid gamer and can often be found playing games on Xbox Live (gamertag is the same as username). So yep, that's pretty much me in a nutshell. I look forward to hanging out here and discussing the wonderful world of toys with everyone

Re: Introductions.

Hello, Sean Kellogg here. I'm a software games tester in Redmond Washington. Over the last 8 years I've collected and sorted out a tidy set of old 70s figures including.....Mego Worlds Greatest Super Heroes, Mego Star Trek, Mattel Shogun Warriors, and Kenner Star Wars. My only other toy like interest would be D&D table top minis from the late 70s early 80s. I'm definately a child of the 70s though, complete with wood paneling.

It has been a pretty rough road trying to decide what I will and will not collect and sticking too it has not always been easy. I recently photographed what I have and linked it below for everyone to see. Enjoy.

My Collection

Pleased to meet you all.

Re: Introductions.

Hello all. As my name suggests I am a BIG fan of Godzilla vinyl toys (Bandai, Banpresto, X-Plus, etc.).
My collection includes: Godzilla ('natch), Gamera, Giant Robo, Marvel Legends (ToyBiz) and DC Universe Classics. I also pick up Diamond Selects Star Trek ships line. I have the Enterprise E and got Enterprise D from Suncoast before they went under.
My Holy Grails: X-Plus Gorosaurus, Anguirus and Gigan.
