The film is brilliantly played by his perfectly chosen cast that includes Jack Nicholson (The Joker), Michael Keaton (Batman), Kim Basinger (Vicki Vale), Michael Gough (Alfred Pennyworth), and Robert Wuhl (Alexander Knox). Tim Burton used his talents as an instructor wonderful, Anton Furst designs a gothic, beautiful Gotham City, and Danny Elfman score of classical music also help to make this a classic single, thoughtful, powerful and very modern, a masterpiece The work of film noir and Grand Opera. “Batman Returns” shares these wonderful qualities, but unfortunately, Joel Schumacher’s “Batman Forever” and “Batman and Robin” lose all the depth and meaning, and become a little more action than the standard nonsense .
