    Rosedale Studios: Darkseid, Hawkman, Hellboy

Finally I have some new work to show everyone.

Below are DCU Darkseid, DCU Hawkman, and 18" Battle Damaged Hellboy. Also, at many fans and customers requests I have gone away from the collage format for my pictures and went back to multiple larger photographs with seperate albums for most figures in my gallery. You can check it out here Rosedale Studios Portfolio

Now on to the new customs!

Except for the 18" Hellboy, the figure's appearances were much improved. (I don't know what Hellboy looked like before.)

To add more "depth" to Darkseid, I would have gone with two shades of blue, a slightly lighter gloss blue shade to dry brush on top.

Although I must agree with ONEYE, that Darkseid could use a little dry brushing on the blue, this is still marvelous work. The stone on him looks awesome, and the wings on Hawkman really came out great.

    Thanks for the compliments!

The blue on Darkseids outfit was purposely painted without dry brushing. It's a cobalt blue topped with Tamiya clear blue. It was the look I was going for, (normally I would have done some additional dry brushing for highlights).
