What are these cool figures? The Raven and his compatriots are the newest figures in our Gothitropolis line of highly detailed six inch scaled action figures. The Raven was chosen by fans as the winner of our FANtastic Exclusive project which allows fans to vote on all aspects of our next figure. Our team here have spent hundreds of hours of meticulously sculpting, fabricating, and painting to create the spectacular prototypes for this line. This project is an absolute labor of love for everyone involved here at Four Horsemen Studios.

Day 8 is complete and we are about $1500.00 from the 5th stretch goal. This is the first day since initial funding that we did not unlock an additional stretch goal. This is not to surprising when you think that many people who would be interested in this project are most likely in San Diego right now. It does appear that the Rooster will unlock on Saturday and the mystery 12th bird will get revealed at the booth at SDCC on Sunday. That big reveal should give us a great push to the 6th stretch goal, a 12th figure, and webbed feet for ol' Minotaur.

Day 10 has come and gone and our final bird has unlocked. The Screaming American Eagle has unlocked and with him we unlock webbed feet for each purchased Minotaur the Duck figure. The next stretch goal is $20,000.00 jump so this will take longer but is very much a reachable goal (we are already more than 77% of the way to both sets of wings.


Four Horsemen Studios have said that they would be willing to add additional stretch goals and additional sculpted pieces but that might change shipping times. All backers should post their thoughts about this at the KS page so that the 4H can accurately gage if this is an acceptable option for their backers.

Day 12 is behind us. Another 20 backers joined our flock today and we are still on track to get Feathered Wings around Thursday of this week. Most Kickstarter projects have a slow period during the middle two weeks put will pick up speed again during the last week. With two and half weeks remaining in this project the Bone Wings are still easily within reach. Maybe the guys will announce more stretch goals and prod us backers to dish for more.

Day 13 has lived up to its reputation becoming the slowest day of the project. My guess is people's wallets are in shock from SDCC as exclusives hit the websites. Day 15, officially our slowest day since the launch of the project. We are still moving forward but these last to goals are defining what the word stretch means. I still fully believe that we will hit every stretch goal but, as backers, we need to get the word out. Find some people that have not heard of this project and show off this flock. Day 16! Welcome to the Middle of the Project! (my apologies to the Pythons) We are half way to end date of this project and 87% of the way to funding of our Bone Wings. That said we are currently $1000.00 shy of the Feathered Wings. I had predicted the wings would land this weekend but I may have missed. Again this is to be expected during this middle section. There should be a last minute surge during the last 5 days as people feel the pressure of time and pull the trigger but I would rather not wait. I want to know that my wings are coming as soon as possible.

Day 21 brings us… Flamingos! Flamingos? Well, It seams that several retailers have approached the Studio asking for additional birds that they could sell. Keep in mind that Kickstarter will not allow pledge levels or multiple pledges that allow for re-sale. This is great news as it means word is out about our little flock here and having additional retailers could mean higher quantities at Store Horsemen. The down side will be hunting another set of birds that will have landed all over the web. So how many retailers do you think are sniffing around the studio? 3? 6? 12? How big could our flock become.

Day 22 and the Bone Wings and Skull are now unlocked. We are also already half way to unlocking the Pink Flamingo. The Bone Raven Skull was just announced this morning along with setting a stretch goal for the Pink Flamingo and like the first week of this project we backers jumped in with both feet. With the Pink Flamingo a go we can assume (yes, I know) that additional birds, exclusive to different retailers, will be announced this winter. So, how baby birds will make up this flock? What retailers have asked to get on board? What will the next stretch goal be?
