Can anyone give me a suggestion on a price guide book for a newbie that collects action figures from 70's-current? I looked on amazon and the most recent was made in 2010.

There really isn't anything out there anymore. You best bet would be to look at EBAY auctions for those items and see where they close at.

Books are never current. Magazines, maybe more current, but then you've got to wonder, would you continue to buy a magazine that shows figure prices dropping?
