WRAP-UP: God of War 2 Concept Artist Interviews

NECA’s Kratros: God of War figures are available at fine retailers WhiteWizardToys.com, CornerStoreComics.com, BigBadToyStore.com and ToyWiz.com.

On May 12, 2007, Figures.com reporter Chris Marbach entered what many video game fans would consider heaven. With images of Mount Olympus (below) and numerous Greek heroes and monstrosities posted on every wall, the opening of Gallery Nucleus’ “The Art of God of War II” exhibition in Alhambra, California attracted a crowd of art, video game and pop culture fans.

The gallery opening ensured fans had the opportunity to not only see the amazing concept art which contributed to the fan-favorite video game, but also allowed these same fans to rub elbows with game artists Dwayne Turner, Ryan Meinerding, Andy Park, Scott Seeto, Erik San Juan, Max Ancar and Cecil Kim.

Figures.com had the opportunity to interview these amazing artists, getting their thoughts on God of War II, the game's brutal main character Kratos and NECA’s Kratos action figure.
