Coming this Summer! NECA has update their website this week with lots of cool information on several of their lines including the Lord of the Rings. As much as everyone is looking forward to the Epic Scale figures and of course the Balrog, there are other NECA LOTR items that are just as awesome. Last year one of the most unique LOTR collectibles released was the plush talking Gollum. If you were one of the lucky ones who found them then you know what I'm talking about. Well this year they'll completed the set with the release of the Smeagol plush.

Last year we put out the Gollum talking plush and it was a smash hit! Lord of the Rings fans gobbled them all up as they disappeared off of the shelves. Thanks to that, we have had many people asking us, "Where is Smeagol?" Well now we are prepared to answer, "We've got your Smeagol, right here!" With a super-detailed head sculpt, and plush wireframe poseable body, this Smeagol will also speak phrases directly from the films! Smeagol "speaks" the following phrases: "Good Smeagol always helps." "Master's my friend." "We be nice to them if they be nice to us." "Hurry hobbitses, hurry." He may not exactly be the cutest thing you've ever seen, but he sure is a loveable charmer. At least you know your finger is safe from Smeagol... We can't really say the same about Gollum. These should be hitting stores sometime in July, so keep your Eye of Sauron peeled!
