As previously reported, the next two products for Fewture’s EX series are Doublas and Borot. Although the prototype figures were on hand at Wonder Festival, photography was prohibited.
This time, at the Tokyo Toy Festival, the figures weren’t there but photography of the product poster was allowed.
Doublas and Borot were both originally intended for the Mazinger 1901 series, but are now slated for release as part of the EX series. However, since the figures have had appearances which allow them to fit right in with Mazinger 1901, and since the upcoming Mazinger 1969 still hasn’t yet received the green light, these figures will be flying both the EX and Mazinger 1901 banners.
