2007 was a huge year for Disney Cars and 2008 will be even bigger. No one could have foreseen the impact and popularity of the line and Mattel intends to continue to support the consumer demand. There will be over 123 cars available over the course of the year. The main single card line will have 18 new cars and 18 refreshers. New characters include Wrecked King, Tire McQueen, Van, and several Pit Crew and Crew Chief vehicles for the various Race Teams.
There will also be 12 new Movie Moments 2-Packs, 6 new 3-Car Packs, and 3 Die-Cast Launcher sets. New larger vehicles include Barney Stormin’ and the Walkin’ Talkin’ Lightning McQueen.
The Mini Adventure line will take-off this year with countless new 2-Packs and playsets. The highlight of this line is the new Screamin’ Banshee that can devour the Mini Cars. See the new Cars pics in our gallery below.
