DC Unlimited (a new branch of DC Direct which will manufacture non-DC related collectibles) will be releasing a full series of articulated and non-articulated figures based on the best selling Blizzard Entertainment Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG)- World of WarCraft.
With over 19 million copies of the game sold so far and over 7.5 million monthly subscribers worldwide, World of WarCraft is one of the most successful and popular computer games ever. Fans of the game (as well as fans of amazing character designs) will be interested in this amazing series of figures.
Cheryl Rubin, Senior Vice President Brand Management at DC Comics says "Blizzard has created an impressive and interactive universe for World of Warcraft. We are proud to be able to deliver DC Direct's expertise in creating and distributing authentic collectibles to World of Warcraft under our new DC Unlimited brand."
DC Unlimited plans to release numerous types of World of WarCraft collectibles, including PVC vinyl and articulated/non-articulated figures in numerous sizes. The first series of figures will include four 5-8" figures, including:
- Blood Elf Rogue
- Orc Shaman
- UndeadWarlock
- Dwarf Warrior
The first series will also include two "deluxe" 10-12" figures:
- Draenei Paladin
- Illidan Stormrage (concept art above)
