Max Toy Company Breaks Out BOOSKA

Cute kaiju character to receive the vinyl treatment.

San Francisco based Max Toy Company announces the upcoming collectible soft vinyl figure release of the Tsuburaya Productions Co. Ltd. character, Booska.

Booska is a cute and lovable kaiju (“monster” in Japanese), who first appeared on Japanese television in 1966. In the years since, Booska spawned another TV series in the 90's, as well as numerous toys and merchandise.

Max Toy Company is partnering with multi-talented artist Martin Ontiveros to create a unique version of Booska. The talented Kiyoka Ikeda (of the Japanese toy company Gargamel) will sculpt the Booska figure based on Martin’s design.

Max Toy Company expects to release Booska in the second quarter of 2007.
