SD Toys, best known to U.S. fans for their iconic Blues Brothers action figures and minature Fender guitars, continues to produce and distribute collectibles in their native homeland, Spain. However, soon collectors worldwide will be treated to a sinister new figure line titled Seven Deadly Sins.
With distribution to be handled by SD Toys, the twisted toy line is being produced by Geek Toys, a new spanish toy company. Popularized in the 1995 thriller Se7en, man's capital vices are uniquely represented in this new line of seven interlocking, highly detailed dioramas. Series 1, tentatively slated to arrive this winter, will consist of ENVY, WRATH, and PRIDE. A second assortment, including LUST, GREED, and SLOTH will follow in 2010 along with a deluxe box set: GLUTTONY. Details, such as suggested retail price and U.S. distribution are still being worked out.
