Fantasy and fashion collide this summer! TokyoPop announces that they are developing a licensing program at retail to coincide with the upcoming release of Princess Ai: Lumination, the second volume of the Princess Ai fantasy comic series.
As reported with our Toy Fair coverage, Bleeding Edge will be launching a line of Princess Ai 12" fashion dolls and 7" vinyl figures. The dolls will feature the unique fashions Princess Ai sports, along with her mysterious locket and signature ripped stockings. Each doll will come with a sneak peek sampler of the next installment, Princess Ai Lumination. Additionally, Princess Ai Lumination will feature pages that depict the process of designing, sculpting and manufacturing the dolls. New images of both the 7" and 12" collectibles can be viewed HERE.
Other Princess Ai merchandise coming out in the near future include posters from Starmakers Rising, bookmarks from Antioch, T-shirts from Imprezzion and calendars from Andrews McMeel. Look for these products at book, specialty and hobby stores this summer.
