New images of upcoming action figure line. JoyRide Studios, a Racing Champions Ertl company and brand, will be releasing plastic and die-cast collectible figures based on popular MechWarrior: Dark Age characters created by WizKids, a Seattle-based developer and publisher of fantasy collectible miniature games and novels.
Each part die-cast figure will measure 5.5" to 7.75" tall and will feature parts that can be interchanged and re-configured. The assortment will include: Legionnaire Mech, Forestry Mech, Jupiter Mech, and Mad Cat. Each figure will ship with a poster, a scale pilot, and a sticker sheet for customizing.
The first wave (pictured above) will hit stores this January for a SRP of $20 each. A second assortment of repaints will follow along with build-it-yourself "BattleMech Construction Activity Sets". The latter will include over 40 diecast metal and plastic parts, opening cockpit with included pilot, and a screwdriver for assembling. SRP of $20 each.
