With a Voltron: Defender of the Universe live-action film announced last summer, the timing for new collectibles couldn't be better.

Currently Toynami is releasing the last remaining units (15,000 piece limited run) of their amazing Masterpiece Collection Voltron. Once these are gone, no more will be made. So if you haven't purchased the ultimate Voltron figure yet, now is your last chance.

Come this fall, a stunning set of Voltron Bookends will be released depicting the Defender of the Universe facing off with a wicked Robeast. This polystone set will be limited to 1000 pieces with a price still to be determined.

This fall will also see the release of a Voltron Figure Base (top picture). Scaled to fit the Masterpiece Voltron, but not including it, the base will allow fans to pose the mighty warrior with his sword and shield behind him. The cool part is that all the Lion's mouth-held bladed weapons will be included, along with a nifty key. The key, which can be worn on your favorite shirt or jacket, locks into the front of the base. When pushed opened, the key will activate base lights and the opening Voltron cartoon music will play. A price point on this must-have Voltron item is still being worked on.
