Toynami speeds off with new transforming machines. Toynami's Robotech line continues to evolve in 2007 with the debut of exciting new Robotech product.
Returning to their definitive Masterpiece roots, Toynami will usher in the Cyclones: futuristic motorcycles meshing man and machine. The Cyclone series will race off with Volume 1: Scott Bernard's Cyclone and will speed on with Volume 2: Lancer's Cyclone and Volume 3: Rand's Cyclone. Each fully transformable piece -- from cycle to armored suit -- will be constructed of die-cast metal and tough plastic, be highly articulated, and feature real rubber tires. Each volume will be limited to a production run of 10,000 and come packaged in Toynami's trademark" book-style" box with slide-out tray, allowing for safe storage and "forever mint-in-box packaging".
Recently released on DVD, the full-length movie Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles is also being tapped by Toynami. The company plans to finally release the long-awaited BETA Fighter this year (first shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2005). In addition, Toynami will rerelease the ALPHA Fighter in an all-new color design as seen in "Shadow Chronicles". This "Masterpiece" will be able to combine with the BETA Fighter when the two are collected. Also, while not on display in prototype form, Toynami revealed plans to release Masterpiece Cyclones from the "Shadow Chronicles" movie.
