TF07: New HALO Data Transmission Received

Kotobukiya divulges details on upcoming ARTFX statue series.

As previously reported, Kotobukiya had announced their acquisition of the Halo license to produce new highly detailed AFTFX statues. While no prototypes were ready for display at Toy Fair, details on the exciting video game series were revealed.

To be distributed worldwide at around $100 each, each HALO PVC sculpture will be a finished, prebuilt figure, unlike Koto's Star Wars series which required assembly. Kotobukiya holds the license for all three Halo games though they will initially launch the line with a Halo 3 Master Chief. This piece is expected to ship this August/September and will be followed by another Halo 3 character (to be announced) and tentatively two more by years end to be be pulled from Halo 1 and/or Halo 2.

As cool-looking as Koto's Star Wars statues are, we can't wait to see how tight their Halo series turns out. As soon as we receive images, we'll be sure to share them with you ASAP.
