Toy Fair 2004 - Mattel: Shaman King

New toy line based on the animated television series!

Mattel’s latest addition to its entertainment-based toy lines is Shaman King. Shaman King follows the journey of Yoh Asakura and his spirit, Amidamaru, on his quest to become Shaman King. He is accompanied by a group of friends (including shaman) as they meet and battle rival shaman and spirits. Spirits work with the shaman to become united in battle and give the shaman greater powers. These spirits can take many forms; animal, human, monsters and ghouls in all shapes and sizes, and their focus is to help their respective shaman become the Shaman King.

*Shaman King 2 ½ -inch Super Deformed Figures (pictured below)- These six unique, innovative collectibles have super-exaggerated facial features with brilliant colors and great poses. The assortment includes: Bason, Amidamaru, Lee Pai-Long, Tokageroh, Eliza and Corey. SRP of $3.99. Available this August.

*Shaman King 4 ¾-inch Figure Assortment - These six Shaman King figures come with accessories and weapons and when teamed-up with their corresponding seven-inch Spirit, make great teams to battle with and determine the next Shaman King. The assortment includes: Yoh Asakura No. 1, Len, Rio, Zeke, Trey, and Yoh Asakura No. 2. SRP of $9.99. Available: August.

*Shaman King 7-Inch Figure Assortment - These four Spirit figures come with accessories and weapons, and have multiple points of articulation. When teamed-up with their 4 ¾-inch Shaman figures, they make great teams to battle with and determine the next Shaman King. The assortment includes: Amidamaru, Bason, Lee Pai-Long and Tokageroh. *Shaman King Deluxe Battling Figure Assortment (pictured above) - Collector-controlled with a joystick, fans can make the armor explode off of their rival Shaman, and if they are lucky enough to do so, they have won the battle and earned the rightful title of Shaman King. The assortment includes: Amidamaru and Bason. SRP of $19.99 and due out this August.

*Shaman King Board Game - Players take on the roles of their favorite Shaman King heroes to defend hero character Len against evil uncle En Tao. Players can attempt to generate Furyoku (life point) to increase En Tao's life points, or power zombie's on the board so they can move and attack. The game is over if evil prevails and is able to deplete all Shamans' life points, or when the Shamans are able to deplete all of En Tao's life points. Game comes with board, four Shaman movers, 30 Zombie movers, one En Tao mover, five Furyoku makers and one five-sided battle dice. For two to five players. SRP of $14.99. Available: July.
