What is Assemble Borg!?

What is Assemble Borg!?

A block toy with all parts easily interchangeable. Weapons, hands, feet, heads and even the bodies.

What is Assemble Borg!?

Through collecting and building vehicles and equipment, the unique story of your character becomes complete at your fingertips.

Assemble Borg is created through the ultimate form of entertainment, the “Imagination”.

The Revolver was created for this day.

In a way, “Assemble Borg” is a brother to “Revoltech Yamaguchi”. What connects the two, is the “Revolver Joint”. The creation of this all purpose joint is where it all started.

1. An idea from the creators.

Yasuhiro Naito and his figure brand “Toy Tribe” had the desire to create the ideal action figure, this resulted in the birth of the all purpose joint, “Revolver Joint”. In order to use 120% of the joint’s potential, the “Assemble Borg” has been developed. As a spin-off, the “Revoltech Yamaguchi” was unleashed upon the world with repeated success. During this time, the designs and sculpts of “Assemble Borg” have been continuously refined. All of this was brought forth by the undying passion for “the desire to have a wonderful toy”.

These are the three pillars of Assemble Borg!

Yasuhiro Naito – Manga Artist. Works Include: Trigun, Trigun Maximum, Gun Grave (Story and Character Design). His interest in toys prompted him to create the figure brand “Toy Tribe”. Originally proposed “Assemble Borg”.

Yutaka Minowa – Animator. Works Include: Vampire Hunter D (Character Design and Image Director), Animatrix (Character Design and Image Director). Participated in the design work for “Assemble Borg”.

Noriyuki Jinguji – Graphic Designer. Works Include: Zegapain (Mecha Design), Revoltech Yamaguchi (Package Design). Participated in the design work for “Assemble Borg”.

2. The result of pursuing movement and durability.

The Revolver Joint is an all purpose articulation part which remains functional no matter how many times it is moved, capable of withstanding rough play, capable of being used as the joints for many figures and developed with the “clicking” sound for clarity of function. With diameters of 10mm, 8mm and 6mm, the revolver joint has the simple, yet distinctive appearance of a ball with sticks growing out of it, allowing for its use in elbows, knees and stomachs, or even the wings or small hatches of robots. A major distinction of this joint is that it can be fitted to any moving part. Not only does the central part of the joint move, but the shaft attachment can also rotate, allowing for a greater amount of freedom in applications.

3. Capable of unlimited combinations

The shafts of the Revolver Joints are all 3mm in diameter. It is possible to attach a head to the point where an arm or leg was, or even attach a head to a figure’s wrist. Not only the head, but any part is interchangeable with any other. It is even possible for the upper arm and lower arm to switch places. For example, if there were a Revolver Joint attached to a weapon, where would you attach it to? The elbow? Knee? Shoulder? The back? There is no wrong answer. With the Revolver Joint, the ideas for creating a figure are unlimited.

4. The completion of your own unique action figure!

With the calculated angles of the shafts in a Revolver Joint, figures have presence even standing still. However, in motion, the true value of the joints become apparent. The base figure for the “Assemble Borg” is based on a sculpt by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. The moment of impact from a martial artist’s moves can be depicted, putting ancient Greek statues to shame. And, no matter how many times it is moved, the Revolver Joints remain firm, continuing to move while making those little “click, click” sounds.

Unlimited Interchangeability + Ultimate Action = That is Assemble Borg!
