No, your mind isn’t playing tricks on you. The Kuchi Kopi is REAL.
Manufactured by Phat Mojo and distributed in the U.S. via UCC Distributing, fans of the hit animated series Bob’s Burgers can now own their very own Kuchi Kopi in vinyl figure form.
The cartoon critter, inspired by Japanese anime (think Yo-kai Watch), has appeared on Bob’s Burgers in many forms, from a walkie talkie, nightlight… even a toothbrush. The squat green creature is the go-to symbol for insanity on the show and has inspired a mini cult following in its wake.
Sized down from their 8-inch glow-in-the-dark San Diego Comic Con 2017 exclusive, UCC’s more readily available Kuchi Kopi stands an adorable 5 inches tall. It might not be as large, but it’s still ever bit as awesome.
This is one of those collectibles that you either “get it” or you don’t. Viewed by someone not familiar with Bob’s Burgers, this is an interesting, if not overly simplistic, vinyl figure. The Kuchi Kopi certainly has a unique appearance with its bug-eyed nonchalant expression and lime green coloring (my favorite color!). However, the Kuchi Kopi isn’t designed for non-fans. This is an off-beat love letter to Bob’s Burgers fanatics.
In that regard, Phat Mojo and UCC deliver in spades. Show accurate and well constructed of a hard vinyl, this figure is every bit the Kochi Kopi Bob’s Burgers fans have longed for. Better yet, it glows in the dark!
Fun and terrific fan service, Phat Mojo/ UCC’s Kocki Kupi vinyl figure is finally real. It can be yours priced at around $26. It is available through many fine retailers, including ToyWiz.com.
