PHOTO REVIEW: Digimon Blind Boxed Plush Minis

Following their series of blind bagged Digimon Domez (read our review HERE), Zag Toys has released the colorful cast of critters as a blind boxed assortment of Plush Minis! Distributed exclusively in North America by UCC Distributing, each adorable plush carries a MSRP of $7.99.

Just like the Digimon Domes series, there are nine (9) characters to collect in this Digimon Plush Mini assortment. These include Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, and Gatomon, as well as a super-rare chase plush, which judging by the blacked-out photo (and the fact that this was the chase in the Domez wave), is Greymon!
Each counter display contains 24 blind boxes. Of these, I received one complete set of nine, an almost full set of eight (was missing Palmon), and two extra duplicates each of Gomamon, Gatomon and Agumon. Sadly I didn’t score Greymon, a chase plush that is indeed very rare and hard to obtain!

Small and collectible, each Digimon Plush Mini measures around 3 inches tall. I’m partial to the more colorful characters, such as the bird-like Biyomon, beetle bug Tentomon and cuddly plant creature Palmon. My two all-time favorite plushies are dumpy Gabumon and cute-as-a-button Patamon.

Just look at those eyes! 🙂

Plush collectors, especially Digimon fans, are gonna love this series. Well designed and constructed, each soft plush is an adorable interpretation of their digital counterpart. Get yours in select stores now. Happy hunting and let me know if you find that elusive Greymon!
