HORROR PREMIUM MOTION STATUES

Factory entertainment will be introducing a new horror themed collection second quarter debuting with A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger. Standing taller than previous Premium Motion Statues at 10-inches (12-inches with base), the polyresin Freddy statue will feature interchangeable arms (long and short) as well as two portraits (standard and exposed skull). Freddy Krueger will be followed by Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th – a combo of Part 2 and 3 with interchangeable sack head and hockey mask and to have swap-out arms with a different weapon, machete, et al. Also announced was Pennywise the clown with handful of balloons from Stephen King’s IT (the Tim Curry starring miniseries). Also be on the lookout for a Pennywise tin lunch box. The statues will retail for a SRP of $99.99 each.

DC COMICS STATUES

New pieces include a sophisticated Wonder Woman Monolith ($99.99), Captain America vs. Iron Man statue ($349.9), and a 360 Degree Premium Motion Statue of Hawkeye ($199.99). An amazing Batcave Diorama (Q3, $699.99) was also shown, Factory Entertainment deciding on whether to include lights or the ability to rearrange the furniture/computers in the dio. I said they should go with lights, as the massive piece will feature a cave top that could really use a light-up feature once in place.

GAME OF THRONES

Factory Entertainment will be re-issuing their 8″ plush Dire Wolf pups starting with Jon Snow’s Ghost, this time in a reclined pose. On the high-end side of the spectrum, factory Entertainment will be continuing their replica crown series. Following the sold out Joffrey crown will be the crown worn by Robert Baratheon. Last but not least, a real metal bottle opener of the gold colored Hand of the King will see release (Q2 $14.99). Don’t be surprised to see the silver colored Hand of the Queen this summer as a SDCC exclusive. Factory Entertainment would neither confirm or deny this. 🙂

DC AND MARVEL STIX

Lastly, Factory Entertainment is working on a series of walking canes, the high quality resin heads to feature the portraits of various DC and Marvel superheroes. Factory Entertainment is looking at selling the heads at $50 and the walking sticks at $50. So for $100 you’ll have a fine pop culture cane with the ability to swap out the head with another for $50 extra. The colors on display were there to gauge buyer interest, the most popular color scheme being the aged patina on the Joker.
