SD Toys made the long trip from Spain to attend the New York Toy Fair again this year, bringing with them numerous licensed product for U.S. fans to see.

Available now through Diamond is their new Cthulhu figure. The 7-inch tall “Great Old One” features an impressive sculpt and was shown at Toy Fair on an equally impressive custom diorama scene. Fans can pick up at select fine retailers, such as BigBadToyStore.com where it is priced at $49.99. Other Chthulhu items reaching Stateside include a stress doll, metal keychains and a Call of Cthulhu bell.

The next figure from SD Toys is a two-pack starring elwood and Jake Blues from the cult classic film The Blues Brothers. Look for this set to hit stores in a couple of weeks priced at around $40. On a totally different subject, a 12-inch Mazinger with a light-up feature will also be available soon through diamond.

Future 7″ figures from SD Toys will be offered as both a standard release and as a more deluxe release featuring a more elaborate diorama display base. For example, the upcoming Chuck Norris figure will be sold as what you see above, while the deluxe version will include a “Invasion USA” city dio.

Al Pacino as Scarface continues the trend, the regular release to feature Scarface blasting away with his machine gun, while the deluxe will include stairs to the scene. A separate Scarface figure will see release later featuring the gangster seated (Sorry Scarface fans, no desk piled with coke. The licensor wouldn’t agree to it).

Other planned figures include Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler from Gone With The Wind.

SD Toys’ Pixels – a series of stylish block figures – will be continuing with new licenses and packaging format. Where the figures were previously released as sets, future releases will be sold solo, two at a time. Look for DC Comic superheroes to kick off this trend this May/June. Future Pixel offerings include characters from Game of Thrones. Unfortunately, the Back to the Future Pixels on display aren’t licensed for the U.S., though fans of the movie will be seeing stress dolls of Doc and Marty, along with cookware.
