Kotobukiya always has something new to show fans at New York Comic Con, and this year was no exception. The first exciting reveal was a new collaboration with Supercell and their smash hit mobile games, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. The stylish animated characters are the perfect match for collectible figures. Collectors can look forward to statues of Barbarian, Wizard, Archer and P.E.K.K.A. from Clash of Clans and Prince from Clash Royale. Stay tuned for further details.
From Star Wars Koto will usher in new characters from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The ARTFX+ collection will receive K-2SO ($79.99, May 2017), a Scarif Trooper 2-pack ($119.99, May 2017), a Death Trooper (price and release TBD), and an amazing Force Awakens Snowtrooper and Flametrooper 2-pack (price and release TBD). Yes, that massive flame effect (with it’s own base!) will be included in the set. Rogue One’s mysterious Death Trooper will also receive a resin ARTFX statue (June 2017, price TBD).
Upcoming DC Comics collectibles on display included the Batman Animated ARTFX+ statue with interchangeable faces (November, $49.99), the Batman & Robin 2-pack (February, $99.99), and Harley Quinn (April, $69.99).
Marvel was represented by the new Super Deadpool ARTFX statue (February, $149.99), Vision ARTFX (release and price TBD), and a new Bishoujo statue of Squirrel Girl!
